Got a 13' f150, going to put some AT's on in fall (Yes a ways off to research) believe that the 16' fords with FX4 package are running the Hankook Dynapro AT-M's.
Ran Genneral Grabber AT2's on jeep but might want to go to a (LT) matrix for truck???...
Thoughts on Hankooks and or going from P matrix to LT?

I'm on our third set of Cooper Discoverer AT3's, load range E, in a range of sizes from my Silverado to my Frontier (both sets lightly used when acquired) to my wife's Xterra (265/70/16 stock size)

No problems as of yet, they blow away the OEM BFG Long Fails in the case of my Nissan's in both wear and performance, and on the Frontier they see 100+ hard miles daily.

I'm a convert. I've had delams happen to me on trailers before (almost scarier than a main tire, depending on the load) and its for sure nothing to joke about. But as you said it happens to all tires (and many makes/models of tire are initially made in the same factories and rebranded) so I think my chances are pretty good.

Are you sure about that tire size? I thought the stock size on the XTerra was 265/75/16.
On a Pro-4X, it is. The SE model she has (4WD, C200K, no other options) came with 265/70-16

Same year Frontier, Pro-4X model...

However, the Frontier has 285/75-16 installed
