And if any of you need a new rig and don’t what to do with all of your money, I spied this on the dealers lot in Hermiston Friday. No, I didn’t look at the price, afraid to know. But a new lifted JLR with the Leitner rack setup ain’t going cheap, nice through.
We just had one on the trail with us last week in Liberty. The lady driving it knew what she was doing and made it through some tight areas without damage.

Looks like she did well. I only fight with two things on my Ram, ground clearance (cureable) and wheelbase (12’ of incurable).

My best friend is getting married on the 1st so I’m out this go around. Hope to be on the next! Haven’t done much this year due to Covid but hoping that changes soon. Sadly have not made a whole lot of progress on the FJ either so it would be the trusty silverado doing the work. If anyone likes to do electrical work, I could use the help.

Since I am doing the EFI conversion on the motor there are a set of wires that are new that I found what they go to, just don't know how to wire it up correctly. I was originally just going to replace the entire wiring harness since it was supposed to be pretty much plug and play. When I pulled the old harness out and matched it up so that I could label each plug, not a single one matched. So I scraped that idea and did a lot of researching and found a way to do the EFI side as a stand alone harness but there was no mention of how to do it. Just what each wire was for. I shy away from electrical as I have tried to burn down previous vehicles because of it.

Sounds like a PITA, have you called Painless Wire to see if they make a stand-alone harness for your combo?

If you haven't seen it yet, we have a thread going over in the meetups section for this trip. We'll start hashing out details and making real plans here in the next couple days.

Would love to go but lately I have been lucky to get a day or two on weekends. Beginning of the month is corporate report hell so I will probably be enjoying the company of this computer and living vicariously through those who go. Have fun!

@JL Lou and myself are gonna head over and run Skyline this Sunday if anyone is interested. We'll go at least as far as Table Rock then come down into Walla Walla or if we are good on time we'll run all the way down to Tollgate. Don't have a meet up time or location set yet, but probably roll out of the Tri Cities around 9 ish.

Looks like it is just us? Do you want to meet in Burbank or Dayton?

Yep, looks like it'll be just us unless we have some folks decide to come last minute. We can meet up in Burbank and head out. There is the Sun Mart gas station just south of the round about when you take the exit for Burbank, meet there at 9? Or do you want to get an earlier start than that?
