Looking for waterproof storage boxes which I can use on my roof rack. The box I used leaks when I drive in the rain. Last thing I need is rusty tools or soggy bread.

I just picked up two 108qt Plano trunks on sale from Home Depot for $15 each and they came with a rubber seal in the lid. I'll be trying them out next week to see how well they work, but I'm happy with them so far.I don't know what box you're using, but I've heard that it's pretty easy to weatherproof the Plano Totes using automotive weatherstripping.

I have seen the same ones at HomeDepot and although it looked like there was space for it, they didn't have any weather stripping. Could you post a pictures of yours?I just picked up two 108qt Plano trunks on sale from Home Depot for $15 each and they came with a rubber seal in the lid. Princess Auto carries "Pelican-like" boxes that are pretty good. Their stock varies from time to time and they all seem to go on sale at some point.Looking for waterproof storage boxes which I can use on my roof rack. The box I used leaks when I drive in the rain. Pricey but those roam boxes look sweet!Right now I’m using Remington boxes I got from sportsman’s wearhouse. Really affordable and no leaks yet. I think if I go with a rhino platform over the cab I’ll run Roam rugged cases, the 95L is pretty low profile lots of good reviews
