This pot is getting really warm all of a sudden.
I wanted a Ranger until I saw one at the OKC autoshow. Had an 89 when I was in high school and loved it. The new one was the most boring truck thing there. Heck the Honda Ridgeline looked better and had a better interior. The Ranger looks like a new Escape with a truck bed. Not to mention the 4cyl ecoboost engine. I personally will avoid a turbo engine as much as possible (exception for diesel) after having a BMW 535i with their twin scroll turbo and the frightening experience of building boost to even get off from a stop and almost getting tboned more than once. Also the Ranger Raptor that's being shown off is the Asian Market. So if we get it I speculate 2-3 years after regular Ranger launch and I'll have enjoyed my ZR2 so much by then. I'm also glad it's starting to get the aftermarket support. It's no where near the level of the Taco or 4Runner however. US Ranger will have a long way to go before it gets that level of support.
@oz45c I have the gas. I did a lot of homework and decided gas fit better for me. Although I still wonder if I should've gone diesel but that's a conversation for the next meetup.
