Fellas, first thing's first...

I gotta fix the wrap on that HF comealong, I don't deserve a winch bumper if I can't keep my wraps tighter than that.

Then, I gotta cut the ends off the pallet, since it won't fit in my truck as is, and the shop I am going to Saturday AM only has one bay for me. No trailer.

THEN! Before I unwrap a thing (OK I uncrated the top but that was for photo ops and ease of movement) I have to get out my handy dandy jigsaw and slice the lower half of my plastic bumper cover CLEAN OFF. Best be on my third Rockstar by then or my hands will shake...

After that, winch install. I have no clue where my control box is going, so that will put an edge on my temper. Im not pleased with a roller fairlead but funds dictated the stock roller remains. I am unsure if my hardware packet will accommodate it...

So THEN, after I've thrown my last wrench and sworn my last oath to the mechanical God's, we will attempt to rig something to lift the 220 pound behemoth up to the snoot of my truck. Wish me luck, friends, I actually only have about a 16 hour window to get it done Saturday...

Right now as I type, my truck sits at the dealership with it's tranny on the floor and opened. Had a intermittent CEL that started on our way to Mammoth Area for exploring. Sounds like an input speed sensor but it could be worse, I could be at OTG with a new tranny. Moral of the story...I always thought the CEL was monitoring the emissions side of the house, not any more, it monitors everything your computer controls these days. I still have a new James Baroud to install on the trailer. Can't wait for next Thursday!!!

Anything with a sensor goes through the ECU now. Anything.

I'm fairly sure boot camp sign up is for "the basics"

Airing down tires, and why.

Choosing lines, knowing your vehicle's capabilities

Trail etiquette

Etcetera, etcetera...
Well then, we should also do BUDS Training.
(Basic Undercarriage Demolition Survival) ;-)
