Hello everyone,

I'm in Vermont driving around a 2017 Tacoma trd sport in blazing blue pearl. She's still stock right now except for taking the badges off and spraying the grill matte black.

I'm a long distance hiker that is incorporating the vehicle to be more of a base station for day hikes and overnights. My wife and I are looking to take it on a tour of Maine in the next couple months, once things with the covid settle down. We have plenty of camping/hiking gear but are really looking forward to having the ability to get a RTT.

I've been watching OB videos for a while now and just decided it was time to support. Nice meeting you all.

Hi all,

I just became a member a little but ago.

I'm in the Sacramento area, have an 04 f150 that is slowly getting molded.
Have been into overlanding for a very ling time.
In the past few years have been to Verdi Peak in the Truckee area. As well as ice house and Slate Mountain.

Also yearly trips to good old Pismo Beach as well as weekend camping trips.
Always take my Dogs with me...They love the out doors and water and snow regardless of how cold it is.

Welcome to Overland Bound - I'm your Southern Idaho Region member Rep. Unlike most people around, this Covid Virus has be working 60-80+ hours a week (I work in State Unemployment Insurance field), so my work is infringing upon my online Overland Bound time .

Due to social distancing, we in the Northwestern region have setup a weekly conference call on Sunday nights at 8:30 MST. To find out who's adventuring, just check out the Northwest region Rally Points for all things going on around here. And if you are planning on going on an adventure, create a Rally Point, and soon you should have a good group of people interested in joining you.

Once the social distancing lifts a bit, I'm planning on getting back to a monthly Meet-N-Greet at a local park one Sat or Sunday a month. There we can discuss our Southern Idaho plans, do some training, and do some picnicing. I also have plans on doing a member rally at a local Sonic.

Looking forward to meeting you (virtual and real) in the near future...

Take care and remember there is a great new adventure waiting for you just outside your front door...

Hey there, my name is Dave up in Northern California near Santa Rosa. Building up my '19 Nissan Frontier with a 2" Nisstech lift of Bilsteins and a HD Old Man Emu on the rear. 23zeros tent is still waiting to get used, thanks Covid:(. Just finished the bed camp box with a cooking station and will be adding under armor, when I get more $$$. It has been a few years since I went wheeling, other than a few Jeep trips over the Alpine Loop so it's nice to have another 4x4 in the driveway. Thanks all, DS

I am the Bay Area member rep and I can help connect you to meet ups that are happening near you. In Pleasanton CA there is a meet up on the second Sunday’s of the month and it has a great regular turn out and active. The Tri-Valley (Pleasanton) group has number of plans already laid out for June through November. Our next meet up will be June 14th, HOPEFULLY in person! But the Zoom meetings have been good as well.
