Hey Guys,

I'm Curtis from Decatur Texas.
Currently in a stock Chevy 1500, full bed.
Novice but definitely interested in getting rolling.

Would love some advice about whether trying to work it out with current vehicle or trying something that can handle Colorado switchbacks and tighter trails.
Welcome from NC.

Hi all, i'm Pete avid wild camper, fisherman, climber, lover of fast dry bike trails, enthusiast and protector of all things outdoors. I'm really looking for ideas on how to set my truck up, simple to start with, wanting a covered truck bed that works with a rack on the box and the rack strong enough for a 2+ tent. I've scoured the internet and all I've found is confusion. Truck is a 2019 Ranger with a 5' box.
Welcome from NC. How do you like the new Ranger?

Start with what you got, you do not need to dump a bunch of cash into it to get going, just go and enjoy and evaluate your rig as you do, you may find your set as far as a rig goes but want to add things or you may find you want a total new rig....But go out and give it some time to research as you go......And know what your going to be doing out there, like you do not need a rock crawler if your overlanding, you don't need a mud buggy if your rock crawling and so on, decide what your going to be doing and aim for that build/rig. There are members her out in Subaru, Corollas, 2wd, 4wd, AWD, and they all have a blast.....
Take your time, but get out and enjoy.

Welcome!

Jim

Hello All! My name is Matt, I'm a 20 y/o Firefighter/EMT that is just getting into the hobby.
My current rig is a 2000 Ram 3500 4x4 w/ the 488 Magnum V10.
My experience is hiking, camping, and my need for a vehicle I can live out of for re-enacting travels.
I'd love to meet anyone in the Ohio area and see what we can do around here!

Hello everyone, my name is Dustin and I live in Wooster, Ohio. Current vehicle is a lightly modded 2002 TJ and I’m in the process of building a T3C trailer. I’ve always been involved with the outdoors and 4x4s to some extend or another but only recently have a discovered the overlanding bug and I’m hooked!

Glad to see another Ohioian! I've only been up to Wooster once but it seemed like a nice area. Any good trails/spots up there?
