Kenn from Philadelphia here. Just joined OB, and excited to be part of the community. My girlfriend and I just spent 13 days on the road living out of our 2017 Tacoma and M416 trailer with a Teouit Autana XL tent on it. We covered 4,323 miles, and only slept in the same spot two nights as we were in Ouray at the FJSummit.

We are going to be at MAOF the weekend of August 12 (our 3rd time), and at Overland Expo East (our first).

Looking to meet up with some other folks for East coast MidAtlantic trips.
Welcome from NC!

Hey all,

Name is Don. Located in Phoenix.
I drive a 2 door Ram 1500 4x4. Lifted 2in front and rear and running BFG KO/2 stock size.
Haven’t done any “overlanding” exactly, but been wheeling off-road for many years.
Looking forward to seeing what others are doing in this hobby to get some good ideas for my own adventures.
Thanks!
Welcome from NC!

Hi all,

My name is Robert and I'm an avid canoeist and occasional hiker from Nebraska

Ride: 2008 Tacoma DCSB that the mods are just getting started on.

I joined looking for info on front range beginner trails.

I'm also an avid DIYer considering a roof top tent project.

Hi all, i'm Pete avid wild camper, fisherman, climber, lover of fast dry bike trails, enthusiast and protector of all things outdoors. I'm really looking for ideas on how to set my truck up, simple to start with, wanting a covered truck bed that works with a rack on the box and the rack strong enough for a 2+ tent. I've scoured the internet and all I've found is confusion. Truck is a 2019 Ranger with a 5' box.

Hey Guys,

I'm Curtis from Decatur Texas.
Currently in a stock Chevy 1500, full bed.
Novice but definitely interested in getting rolling.

Would love some advice about whether trying to work it out with current vehicle or trying something that can handle Colorado switchbacks and tighter trails.

Hey! Posted in another thread- not here so... hello! My wife and I drive a 2018 JLU that’s been tweaked for overland use. We’re new to the combination of camping and off road but not new to either. We said by to the specific wheelers and 30ft trailer and now like to “take it easy” and get out and explore. We have three kids although they don’t always like to join- 16,13, and 9. Our youngest still loves to come along! We are located in puyallup WA and when our work schedule allows would love to branch out and explore further and further away from our “neck of the woods”. We look forward meeting some new overlanding friends and are excited to join this community. Few pics of our Jeep below- reach out if your around and let’s set up some adventures!
