Nice to meet you Magic Mike and do you know any good beginner trails to start out with by your area I want to get my feet wet and get out on the trails!
Hey @zendter glad you are here, I lead the Ripon meet up. A great beginner trial that comes with lunch is Serpentine Loop Off 108 and La Grange Road. It’s a short loop that takes maybe 20 minutes, has a couple little decent climbs that are more than a fire road, but not too much for your truck. At the top is a nice little place to look around for a bit and see the Sierras in the distance. The lunch part is if you take Hwy 4 east stop at Copperopolis and Eat at Griff’s BBQ (brisket sandwich is so good!), then it’s a 20 minute drive on O’Brynes Ferry Road crossing over Tulloch Reservoir and make a right on 108 south for a couple miles to a left on La Grange Road, then a left on Red Hills Road and you’ll see the loop on the left in about 2-3 miles. Easy fun run with nice views on Hwy 4 and 108

Hi there, I'm Hans.

2) Location: Redding, California
3) Rig: Currently a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Limited (XJ). Had a 1991 Toyota 4runner that finally gave up the ghost after 340k amazing miles, and before that a 1992 Jeep Cherokee Sport (XJ). Even though most of my overlanding is done with four wheel drive, the family 2002 Toyota Camry has been on some spectacular adventures. (I think get that from my dad, who thought a 1984 Ford Escort was capable of being an extreme off road vehicle!)
4) Overlanding Experience Background: Experienced! Grew up with a two to three week road trip every year (always camping, and often way off the beaten path). I continue to explore and camp as much as I can.

New to Overlanding but love the outdoors! I’m in Cleveland, Ohio and I spend a lot of my time outdoors hiking and camping. I’m just getting started with my 08 Subaru Tribeca and I’m out this weekend trying my solo setup.

Hey guys, new member here!
I have been an avid outdoorsman since I was a kid. I love to go backpacking, hiking and camping. I have always had an interest in overlanding so I decided to finally take the plunge!

-Burlington, Ky
-2013 F150 Fx4, 6in ProComp lift, Rancho 9000 shocks, 35x12.5X20's, tubular UCA's are a few things ive done to the truck.
-Experience, minimal. Ive always loved 4wheeling BUT have never Overlanded. I am very excited to learn from you all and I hope this is the beginning of some awesome adventures!
