Hello,

My name is Tim and I have been overlanding for, hate to say, decades. Current rig is a 2007 Toyota Tacoma with over 400,000 miles on the clock, driven it on 4 continents and it has done the Pan-American highway both ways. Base of operation is Southern Nevada and for the past 3 years have been operating within 5,000 miles of home with many trips into Mexico. So to answer the question, I am not a novice. I travel mostly alone, but have been known to invite people to join me. I joined here because only to give this community a try.

Some of my travels can be seen on my Instagram page. I only been posting on Instagram for a year now and only post a small amount of the places I go to.

Best Wishes Everyone

Welcome to Overland Bound @John Hogewoning from your neighbor just south of the border! You are in an incredible place for overlanding. Washington and British Columbia both have some of the most amazing trails to enjoy. To top it off, there are a good number of active Overland Bound members in the area. Since you are not too far from the US, I want to invite you to join with the Northern Washington group on January 19, 2019 for our first meetup of the year [link]. Of course, you can also reach out to members in your immediate area through the Overland Bound West (BC) Region forums [link]. You can also keep up with what is going on in Washington by checking out the Overland Bound NorthWest Region forum [link]. Events are also posted on the Rally Point system [link], so you might want to check that out as well.

I look forward to seeing you out there! If you need anything, feel free to hit me up on the forums: @Jedi.

Nice! Unfortunately I am starting the process of medically retiring due to a helo crash that happend while being inserted on a mission. Just had my first surgery last week.
Just do every thing they say, so you heal faster, I am recovering from a total shoulder replacement, I had been done in 30th may, I heal quick, I have full movement in left shoulder,, shocked my doctor with how much I can move it,no limitation, just working on strength getting it back to freak strength again.
Deal free to talk to me , I was a SSG , 88M,11B AND 91E ALL MY MOM'S AND EX NAVY WELDER .
IF YOU NEED TO TALK, I AM HERE. SORRY THAT'S THE SQUADLEADER IN ME, LOOK AFTER MY TROOPS. HEAL FAST BROTHER.
