My name is Shane, and i am currently stuck here in SoCal. I currently have a '17 GMC Sierra fitted with all the cool gear......
I've been camping and offroading for over 30 years, but only had an "Overland" rig for 2 years. I usually get out every other weekend, whether it be a day trip or a 3-4 expedition.

I'm always down for a new adventure, and hopefully get to see some of you on the trails!!!!

I also JUST bought a 1992 Land Cruiser this last week and am in the process of renovating it. I'm very new to overlanding, but my wife and I are avid backpackers, so the concept of "carry what you need" is quite familiar to us. I am a US Marine veteran (2001-2008) and am interested in self sufficiency in all matters of things, and Overlanding is an amazing way to continue the adventures!! Thanks for having me.
