Agree about a snorkel. It would have helped. Even when we were going less than 10 miles an hour in this photo, spacing is critical on dry dusty roads. I was the tail rig and the dust just lingered in the air even being a quarter of a mile behind. Our nine rigs kept the dust a flying along with no wind to blow it away. But....fun we had exploring and camping.CON:
If ever there was a need for a snorkel, this picture demonstrates that need. Convoy is bunched too close together. Eating that much dust continuously, would take away from the trip. 5-6 vehicles are going to keep the dust airborne for a bit.

Getting out with friends exploring together. Being with others who enjoy your passion, and the safety in numbers factor.
Great picture Exploring areas now desolate and of few people, which once had many homesteads and small towns. Nevada is one of those places with a rich history of BOOM & BUST.
