Haha yeah I definitely plan to increase my tire size, although I’m leaning toward going to 35’s (more so because of the cost of the tires compared to 37’s and being able to stick with my current gearing if I go to 35’s). But I agree, the lift needs bigger tires to go with it!
Yea tires start getting expensive once you start up sizing! I am going to attempt to stuff 37's on mine here shortly as long as my tax income check will allow it. I only have a leveling cups on the front and deleted my fenders. I know even with spacers I am going to have some issues, worst case I'll add a lift for clearance but the goal is to not lift. Since my jeep isn't my daily driver I figure I can address, gearing & clearance issues after I have them installed. Probably have to upgrade ball joints and bump stops also. We will see!

When I picked up my 2009 JKX-S, I’d planned her as a two-door overland rig. But, as I couldn’t find anyone around me into that kind of use, she’s been a rock crawler instead.

Now, as our kids are nearing the day when they’ll step out on their own, I’ve circled back around to the notion of removing the rear seat, adding some storage and doing a little more overlanding and backpacking.

Here is my 2011 JK Noverlander. Stripped everything off the exterior and decided to make it my tiny camper. I do sleep on a custom built sleep platform that folds up so I didn't have to remove my passenger seat.

I am currently resetting everything, hopefully for the last time and should have it ready for solo travel by November.

If any one is interested in a build thread let me know. It does ride on 37s with no lift kit (technically).

I'm at the same point. Kids are pretty much out the way they have their own jeeps now.

I told my wife I will be cutting the seat mounts out and throwing the rear seat in the dumpster. I am a few weeks away from the final sleeping platform build.
