Well, I don't have my fire pit going tonight but I did just get done splitting a bunch of wood! Im on the back deck looking up 4runner accessories (imagine that) drinking this baby. Cheers!View attachment 83740View attachment 83741
And... Dude, yes. California here and I just said Dude. The pic is awesome. All I see is open land. Not here in the SF Bay Area! I’ll send you a quick pick of my little set up in my tiny yard tonight! Enjoy your beer!

If you’re ever in town! You’re invited!

The Faucet handles do not match the beers, but they are cool. My sister hooks me up with a few every year. We hit 21st Amendment when we hit Giants games. Yeah, we are lucky here. I hate the traffic, cost of living and tooooo many people. Other than that, I love it here. Don’t get me wrong, I want to move out of state as soon as the kids land somewhere. Utah, Washington or Colorado. Who knows!

One of my best friends moved out near Charlotte. He’s in Waxhaw now. Hope I spelled that correctly. I think we are planning a “Boys” trip out there in October. It’s beautiful out there.
Charlotte and the surrounding are beautiful great location. 3 hrs from the mountains, 3 hrs to Myrtle Beach, 3-4 hours to Charleston. All our mountains have are forest roads for the most part. Snow really isn’t an issue however ice is!

The Midwest has a completely different beauty to it. 3/4 of my family live in Co. I would love to live out there but I hate the cold.

Installed an ARB snorkel and diff breather last week, so of course I had to go try them out. Just got back from a cold weekend camping in North FL..... Well it was cold to this FL boy!! Snorkel worked great while crossing deep puddles and I actually seemed to get about 1.5-2.0 mpg better economy on the highway after installing it. Anyone else getting that?

Hell yea, that's all good stuff! I have tons of toys myself and should part with some as well for spending money. Go-kart, 2 Honda XR-50's (all done up with big boy kits), 2 motorcycles, etc. I'd buy that bike off you, lol. Glad your getting the time with the kids. That's what I live for! .....2 TRD Pro's, not too many people can say that, lol. Hopefully your 16 sells soon.

Here are some pics of my toys. [emoji2] View attachment 83706View attachment 83707View attachment 83708
Took a deposit today on the 16”. I’m going to miss it. I haven’t called about the 19’ yet this week. I’ll wait until the buyer picks up my 16’. If all works out she’ll be gone Wed or Thursday. Tons of folks don’t like the TRD Pro and call them Mall Rats. My Mall Rat cost me 129.00a month to own not including gas and insurance. Plenty of snow and trail rides stock. I’m picking up a new 19’ for less than 10k not including tax. Granted, my 16 was still stock. I have more mods planned, ordered and purchased already for the 19’ than I did for the 31 months I owned the 16’. I hate the wait for the new rig. I’m calling again in the AM. IMG_8668.jpeg

Detailed it before the new buyer saw it. Here is a pic. Love the Magnetic Grey.

Looking forward to spending some time out there in the fall. Should be a great trip.

Yeah. I think it’d be a bit easier if the SW was here. Well... now it’s really gonna be wait time. It is a great ride. It found a new home in Napa.
That's good to hear that it sold. I'm suprised it took this long. Those workers at the dock are probably hauling ass down some mountain trail right now like in Ferris Bueller, lol.Screenshot_2019-01-29-10-58-56-1.jpeg

LMAO- funny image! You make me laugh. Who knows. I’m calling though after I drop my daughter off.
Yeah, it took a bit longer then expected, but funny thing was my listing kept being flagged. I’d find a 2106 posted on CL with a price 3k over mine from a dealer. Not sure if the dealer flagged it or what. It was a PITA to repost. I did leave it up with and edit for those Fools who flagged me.
SOLD SOLD in the title. [emoji106]

I appreciate it, it is nice to get paid for sure. We will get 2 paychecks out of this 3 week "timeout". Hopefully they can agree on something soon. Community here has been great. Food pantry's have opened up in multiple locations greatly helping the younger folks out who live check to check and have 3 kids and a non-working spouse. Lots on members were stressing out pretty bad. Luckily for me, my wife works and I have money in the bank. I'm also higher ranked with 24yrs on the job. With all that said......I'm still taking it easy on spending just in case this shutdown resumes for an extended amount of time. We just don't know what to expect. Silver lining......I'm saving money during all this, lol.
Hitch recovery....I like factor 55. It's just clean looking. I have straps, first aid, fire ext, but nothing major yet. Just about to hit 1k miles. Not sure how sad this is but I've detailed washed it 6 times already, lol. My neighbors must think I'm crazy. View attachment 83698
Ok. Where did you, or will you install your badge? I’m thinking rear side window, but not sure about the adhesive on glass.

That's a great question and I have been contimplating the same thing. (There is a post on this specifically in here and people post pics). Mine are actually scheduled to arrive today in the mail and then I can get a better idea #16505. I'll let you know what I come up with. These were literally the first thing I bought after they suspended the shutdown, lol. My wife said, "Wow, that didn't take you long." [emoji16]
