I took a day trip up prior to that letter and thought I would go up again. At that time Eldorado NF was the only one open. Oh well. If push comes to shove I could rely on my pass card....

Anyone know if a decent trip for the day in Eldorado National Forest? Fire roads, light -med 4x4 off road trails. I was supposed to go to Overland Expo next weekend I got to get out for the day!

Hey there. Thanks for the write up. I'm in the Bay Area and looking for a good day trip for me and my daughter. Can you give me some advice on doing a portion of your rout? Also what sort of road conditions I might encounter. Any serious obsticals?
