What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

    That looks awesome! Nicely done!

    Camping with kids

I don't have kids, but I can second Vin's recommendation with the trailer setup. It's so nice being able to set up base and then go explore in the vehicle. With that said, I completely understand the added expense isn't so attractive! I will be camping with my 2.5 yr old nephew for the first...

Jeep JKU Overland build - stiffer springs?

@Mikey6417, I was in the same boat as yourself. Initially, before really getting into the overlanding scene, I just ran a set of Rough Country 3.5" springs and Bilstein shocks. It was fine for what I did with the vehicle; drive back and forth to work and the occasional trail/forest road on the...

    CB Tuning

I have that same mount, installed on the tailgate as well. Did you make sure you grinded off all of the powder coating on that mount, right where the flat washer makes contact? If you did, double check it again, and make sure the washer is contacting bare metal, with no powder coating. I got...

Moab, UT to Expo West Flagstaff, AZ

Nice! It's even more amazing than in pictures isn't it? Will you get out to enjoy CA as well? I did Yosemite, Sequoia, and Death Valley almost two years ago. Absolutely beautiful!

Interesting read on Millennials and the Camping industry!

Some very good comments so far! Just for clarity, I grabbed the age ranges from just doing a Google search. I’m no expert on any of it [emoji16]. My parents were never into camping. I got into it on my own in my teen years, with friends. Now, in my late 40’s, it’s all I think about all week...

Interesting read on Millennials and the Camping industry!

https://www.curbed.com/2019/4/24/18514077/campers-millennials-camping-van-life-glamping I read this article and it definitely made me think about who I normally see when I'm out on camping trips, especially when staying at a campground. It's pretty darn accurate. Surprised there was no...

    Camping with kids

Great thread with some great ideas! I'm taking my 2yr old nephew camping this weekend. Of course, he's already seen like 30 some states and was camping before he was 1 with my brother and sister-in-law, so I'm sure he'll be fine, but it'll be interesting to see how it goes!

    Expo Trailer w/RTT or Squaredrop?

I've had pop ups, teardrops, and now a utility style trailer(made by Morris Mule trailers in Alabama). I keep my Tepui RTT and Foxwing on the trailer and generally use it for longer trips, and some overnighters as well. I love the simplicity of the trailer and RTT-no mechanicals, nothing to...

    Do you use your awning?

I have an ARB 2500 on my Jeep, and a Foxwing on the trailer. I absolutely love having the ARB on the Jeep, and use it quite frequently. I even use it at work sometimes and we'll grill lunch under it. Definitely one of the most useful additions I've done, especially when you mate it to one of...

    Peters Mill Fun Run

Thanks! DV8's flat fenders. I love the style of the fender, but should have Line-X'd them before installing. The mid-atlantic winters are taking a toll on them, but not the fault of the fender. Fitment is great!

    Rig Photos

Took a nice drive out to one of my favorites....Ft Valley in the Shenandoah Valley area. Scouted some great dispersed camp spots. Lunch was nice along the creek!
