Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Here in Southern Nevada i have been looking for members but have been unsuccessful. We have a large range of off-road vehicles...Jeeps, Toyota's, full-size, but i seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when looking. I see that there are at least a couple of local members, but i have...
Group think can be good or bad. My above concern is this very thing. There is always those who like to be leaders, and being a 'A' personality, can dominate a group and marginalize other group chapter members. So that being said there has to be checks and balances put in place to minimize...
So....from march 2015 to the end of October 2018, membership went from sub 200 to over 15,000! 3.5 years, that is sensational growth and no TV advertising. Just word of mouth and You Tube.
NICE>>>>>>>>>I wonder if Micheal and Corrie ever thought this site would be this successful.
What year is that? A Tahoe that still had the ability for steel aftermarket bumpers F/R. The new versions have all that plastic, and have marginalized their off-road capabilities drastically. At least the earlier versions were a American version of a land cruiser in size and conception(to a...
Have you had any zipper problems and dust??? In the ATV world zippers are frowned on because of dust contamination, and velcro is the preferred closing system because of that.
The dust makes for sticky or broken zippers, and you have to buy dressings or cleaners to counter-act the dust.
Wonder how the UV resistant fabric spray works, if its worth it...

????????....Yes the fade issue seems to be a gripe that i read about often. The tan seems to be the least complained...
At least 2 sets of thermals...I like the new, super tech thin ones for layering. A 2nd med-wt., since these are for working. If you were in a more static situation, heavy thermals would work. i would also get 2 types of beanies. A large one that easily pulls down around your neck, and a...
****Summed up correctly****.....with the possible exception of the ZR2 and upcoming AEV edition in January 2019(apples to oranges comparison)...I know:fearscream: full size vs mid size!
Because of the GM design in their 2500/3500 HD trucks, the question of durability and practicality have been a continuing debate. With no manual hub offerings, everything is automatic it is basically a 4x3, the front end turns all the time on 1 side. Those that own a RAM, do have a expensive...
Tree savers are static web straps, that can be any size, but are usually 5 or 8 feet long. Tow straps are also static but usually 20-30 feet long. I bought 2 different brands that are 5 feet long. 1 i use as a tree-saver, the other as a 'bridle' to reduce the stress on my front recovery...
Staying with a 17 inch rim and tire combo is the correct thing to do. OEM direction is more and more a standard 20 inch wheel, which is exactly what you do not want in a off-road vehicle. You get decent air down ability with a 17". Some models out there offer a 18 inch wheel which is probably...
A very thoughtful narrative of your trip. Nice photos, and good info on vehicle limitations. I doubt any other full-size rig could do it. The difficulty even with a front locker say a lot.
Ronnie Dahl was 1 of the first to get me hooked on off-roading videos and over-landing. The other mentionable's were right behind. I did a lot of BINGE watching on You-Tube.
I have used BFG since 1999. The BFG muds were the first 2 sets on a f150. Once I went to a 2500 HD (4x4) in 2001, i have continuously used the KO 2 AT on my subsequent trucks. I got usually 43,000-48,000 miles with rotations. Did a lot of reviews, and almost went with Cooper, but...
I wish the OB branded bag was at a lower price point. I have been looking at the Trasheroo. Their custom logo bags are nice and just a few dollars more than their standard offerings.
Offer a custom gold background behind the OB logo, so that it really stands out. similar to the green...
Quote from above:
Thank you for understanding, and thanks for bringing this to our attention. The digital tier is new, and you are the first to show us that it needs further explanation...
