Rockfall closes White Rim Road near MOAB.

No I don't know, Even if they picked them up and put them in trucks and hauled them away it's not a big job. Like I said it depends on what they do with them and the size of their equipment. They probably have at least a 20T truck and a medium front end loader available, if not they can contract...

Rockfall closes White Rim Road near MOAB.

A lot depends on where they put them. They don't look too big a good sized front end loader should be able to move them. If it is just a matter of throwing them over the side even easier, push em over with a D9. Couple of hours then dump in some fill and compact and grade.

    The Perfect Camp Stove

Well, perfect is an opinion...For myself I like the white gas stoves. I have a single burner and a double burner, both Coleman. Mostly though I just use my Kelly Kettle to boil water when I am solo, coffee and backpacker meals. I did however make a solo debris burner stove I saw on an Australian...

Cold Weather Camping. How do you keep Warm in single digit temps?

I want to put in a word about how to dress for bed when it is cooold. Like most of us I grew up with dress warm and then get in the sleeping bag. This changed for me in the 90's when my son joined the Army. There they taught him to undress, throw the clothes in the bag and climb in. The...

Cold Weather Camping. How do you keep Warm in single digit temps?

Take one or more of the large 48oz Nalgene bottles and fill it with heated water for in the sleeping bag with you. You can also use large pill bottles full of hot water in your coat pockets. Little thing on sleeping bags; if the bag is rated for lets say 40°F, it means you shouldn't die if it...

Red Lady : Reloaded (Discovery 1 130 Solid Walled Camper)

Hi, just found this thread. Interesting build for sure. I'm not a fan of RTT's either! From the rear it reminds me of a mini-unimog. Do you have a curb weight for after the conversion?
