Shot of the cockpit in the state of adventure! I'll be heading off to further parts of Utah to chase turkeys next week, and it'll be nice to have this dialed!

Check out @jamdeeper on Instagram and see what he's done for his rear drawers! Solid stuff with placement for a stove!

I do actually! I'll begin work on that here in a month or so. I'll cover the entire cargo area with a 4 to 6 inch tall drawer system, possibly three drawers of equal width.
I want a slimmer setup because the pooch rides back there on adventures sometimes and I don't want him too constricted...
A good way to organize day-by-day travel tracks is by color-coding! I don't know how many apps or systems offer this function but Backcountry Navigator let's you use literally a color prism to adjust.
So, what I'll do is start day one on Red and gradually work my way around the prism...
Boom!
-USB cables for phone and navs; wired/fused constant 12v!
-Midland 75-822 CB; wired/fused constant 12v!
-Boafeng UV-82HP Radio; wired/fused constant 12v!
Everything can charge and be accessible and usable with the vehicle off.
Nice creature comfort to check off the list!

So far, I've marked out a spot where the mag will align both on top and lowered down, and I'm able to get decent repeatability as far as my tune when moving from one position to the next.
I may be off by 1/4 each time, but not enough to completely ruin my tune.
I'm happy with it all so far...
I upgraded the communications setup in my Jeep over the last week.
In February I got my HAM Technician license, along with my brother and father.
Being that all three of us have the license and Baofeng UV-82HP's I wanted to get mine all set up for use inside the cab as a mobile unit.
The...

It's a great run! There's plenty of YouTube videos of the various obstacles you'll encounter... rr4w.com also has the .kml file for the downloadable maps of routes.
Check it out!

Ground down some of the previous fabricating on this thing... I think I'm going to leave the 1x1 steel frame on there, less work for me...
Next step is to grind down as much rust as physically possible so I can begin to layout the design for the additions I plan on.

I am excited about it for sure! I'm not quite sure on the thickness yet, but if I were to guess I'd say maybe 1/4 inch diamond plate... but from what I can tell it looks factory!
I'll have to post a few screenshots of the design I'd like to implement, itll be a little on the simple side to...
I picked this bad boy up last year for $80. A former scout master had it rigged up for outings and my plan is to take it back down to original build, then add my trimmings for adventuring properly!
I wanted this style of trailer because it is LIGHT! Even with gear and RTT it won't lug down the...
There's been no shortage of work between these posts! But throughout this week I wanted to focus on upgrading my On-Board Air Setup... the little Amazon special wasnt cutting it!
What I've done is mount a Viar 88P, 2 Gallon tank, custom manifold and a 3D printed cooling fan mount onto a nice...
