Well front diff got put in last week but had to wait for my driveshaft that finally showed up today. Well worth the wait as the stock shaft had a junk factory CV end on the tcase side and this new one is u joints on both ends. Finally Its 3wd once again! I would have found a dirt...

Added a drain to the front diff as it is a pain to get the cover back on and sealed to change fluid once its hanging in the truck.

So finally getting the front diff re-geared. Pattern looks good with all new bearings and a couple new shims. Hope to have it back in the truck next weekend.

Hard to beat a yota for a daily. I had a 82 2wd that I finally got the goodie out of it a few years ago. it had over 800k miles on it. How thirsty is that 3rz? Selectable lockers on both ends and that thing will go anywhere.

Yea I pulled the cam shaft out of the 4.7 and put in a diesel. Best mod yet! ;)

Dakotas are great for the low budget build as long as your ready to fabricate anything and everything. I have plans for mine its just slow going.
