Rivian has lowered their anticipated starting price which I suspect is a response to the Cybertruck pricing.
I’m with on the acceptable price range for something I’d personally be willing to take off-road, but budgets vary.
I would also think that range vs performance should be easily...
Announcements seem to be coming quick and heavy about new EV announcements. I have to say I am happy to see the truck and SUV markets getting so much attention for EVs.

A little setback on the Victory 4x4 bed rack. I couldn’t for the life of me determine how the stake picket mounts would work without forcing me to trim the plastic rail caps.
Turns out that’s because they were fabricated incorrectly. Replacement are on their way next week and I’ll post pictures...
I got the DV8 rear bumper installed and license plate lights wired during the beginning of the week. The bumper lights aren’t wired yet as I’m still deciding how I want those to be controlled and allow for any future off road lighting additions.
Really need to get my garage storage project...
Bumper is on, pictures to follow soon. Those license plate lights they include are about the chintziest pieces of plastic I've ever seen, but I am also not seeing any better options.

I’ve been keeping the delivery guys busy and now I have some projects to complete.
DV8 rear bumper to replace the stock one damaged from being rear ended.
Victory 4x4 bed rack Ready to hold a future RTT.
We were rear-ended in Salt Lake City on New Year’s morning. Welcome to 2020...

We were rear ended today. Nothing major, but the rear bumper will need to be replaced.

I’d do it myself and just cash the claim check if that was allowed, but with a...
My wife and I had both taken a long time off from climbing before restarting and meeting at the climbing gym. It comes back quickly. Most of our trips include some rock climbing as well.
With my whitewater kayak I have always run a bike lock through the carry handle and around the roof rack. In the area I use to live kayak theft was frequent in the WW community where boats easily run up into the $1000s.
My wife (then girlfriend) and I did Iceland back in 2017 and loved it. We rented a Suzuki Jimny and tent camped half of the nights and airbnb'd the other half for a little more comfort, showers, etc. This was our first major trip together and I think the first overlanding type trip either of us...
