Depends what you drive. If you have four-wheel drive a some decent clearance, it's easy. Otherwise, I think you could say moderate. In case you didn't know, you need a permit from the Forest Service to do Bulldog Canyon. It's free and you can apply via email. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

That really is a great drive and Kanobee is a great overlanding companion. Hopefully, I can make it out next time, but the house painting never seems to end! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

It was really nice meeting everybody. Maybe we can try to set up another trail run in a couple weekends. Here's a few of my pics. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

I have an unlifted 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee on 32" tires, so there'll be a couple sketchy spots for me. I'll bring my son as well. He has a 2002 Grand Cherokee with 2.5" lift, so he'll do fine. He's had his through the whole length of Bulldog Canyon several times. Sent from my XT1080 using...

I'm going to be there. I picked a CB today, so now I'm dying to try it out. If you want a few more trucks, I could mention it on my AZ Grand Cherokee group page. That'll usually rustle up two or three more. I don't know if we want more than we already have though. Sent from my XT1080 using...

I've been meaning to get one. My son has one for his Jeep and he keeps telling me I need one. If I can make it Saturday, I'll pick one up before hand. I might just get a handheld for now. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Personally, I think the gate you chose is the best one. Let's stick with it! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Two wheel drive would definitely be sketchy. Most of it would be fine, but there are some really sandy parts that he would struggle with and some steps that could lift a drive wheel off the ground. We just had to help a 4x2 Toyota out of there last weekend. However, if he was with the group...

My favorite part is FR1356, which splits from 10 and takes you out to Apache Trail. The views are outstanding. The only part I haven't done yet is the split off that takes down the AA Mine. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

Great. I wasn't sure. You can go in through four different gates, so I wanted to make sure I knew which one you considered the trailhead. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

    Dogs out on the road?

We just travelled from Michigan to Arizona with our dog, Maggie. She did great. We take her out on the trails all the time and she seems to like it. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

When you say trailhead, do you mean the entrance off of Ellsworth/User Mtn Pass? Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

My son and I could be interested as well. We just moved into our new house last weekend, so we have a lot to do, but we could probably get a pass for a few hours! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

I've been wanting to do Box Canyon, but I'm not lifted yet, so I'd definitely want to do it with a group. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
