Thank you.
The item that says 3rd is my Badge of Ownership. It is attached to my car with 3M tape, similar to what my Overland Badge badge has. The 3rd icon says My 3rd Subaru and the smaller ones show various hobbies and interests that are meaningful to me. It is a small thing that...
I do not think I have shown my Subie in this thread. This is my '14 Outback (3rd Subie/2nd Outback) that I have modded for overlanding and car camping. It has been very reliable since I purchased it in 2013. It has an extensive list of mods but the majority of the mods are from Rallitek. Here is...
I have been overlanding my '14 Outback since 2019. For the most part, it has not prevented me from overlanding even though it is a bit of a computer on wheels. With the transmission, I just need to watch the temperature levels since it has a CVT. Only one time, I gave a warning and I just...
Just a few updates on the Outback.
1)I have replaced my iCW racing wheels with Method 502s in Titanium grey as well as replaced my Cooper Discoverers with Nitto Nomad Grapplers. The new tires have performed very well on many terrains but I just need to try them out on snow/ice.
2)Showcasing...
Thanks. Mine goes on trails (max level 5) and occasionally car camping. When living in Portland metro, I was adventuring on moderate trails at Brown’s Camp.
When I attended Overland Expo Mtn West (Colorado-which has just as many Subarus as Oregon or maybe more), there were not many attendees...
Thank you Portland crew for welcoming my overlanding Subaru and myself to the monthly meetups with warm, welcoming hearts and smiles. I was nervous at first because Subarus are not typical vehicle that one sees on the trails.
I am fully moved into my new home in Colorado. I showcased my Subaru...
Thank you. I have done a few softroading day trips with some Subaru groups since I moved back in mid-May. The Front Range has changed a bit in the last 20 years...especially Boulder.
My roundtable discussion is on Friday morning at 10 a.m. My car will not be hard to find. In terms of my walkaround, I am doing a similar approach as you and group my mods by region and explain how they relate to overlanding in terms of the benefits and possibly a few things to consider if...
In terms of stickers, I tend not to put a whole lot on but there are a few from companies that I am an Ambassador of. On the body, I have graphics made from wrap which can help distinguish it in a crowd of vehicles but also in case, someone wanted to steal it. The last part is a true story...
Cool. I will try to listen to yours after mine. This is the first time that I am giving this long of a presentation on my car. I am also doing a roundtable discussion about keeping overlanding alive and trail etiquette. Good luck on your presentations...I am sure that you will do great. :)
Whoever would like to listen to my showcase presentation on my Subaru Outback, it is scheduled from 11:00-11:50 a.m. on Sunday. However, I can answer questions about it anytime during the Expo.
