what @DevilDodge said. Consider All-Terrains but ONLY when you're due for tires. Falken makes a "softroader" that is similar to the Wildpeak AT3W that seems popular with smaller AWD vehicles (Wildpeak AT Trail?) . @Dusther210 seems to be enjoying Westlake AT's perhaps he'll offer up some...
in the early 90's they were "hardbodies"...probably marketing hype but cool looking. I think 31's were available. A large tire for a stocker at the time.
Welcome NJCoastal! There's absolutely nothing wrong with your vehicle. Spend time exploring the pines, polish your skills. Perhaps a set of traction mats or GoTreads, a shovel, etc & you're good to go.

Glad I didn’t read the other reviews before heading over here. I wouldn’t have taken the ride if I thought it was closed. It was open and a pretty...
@Ri_T_chie B that's great news. I called & emailed the office of the governor last week (as I hope many of you did). I'm grateful for the June 1st opening date, but isn't this still backwards? Opening group sites 1st? I guess I'll never understand...big dumb piney I am!
Good news! I saw this on another website:
Ok, found it. It looks like some are accepting reservations and some aren't. Godfrey, Hawkins, Goshen, and Bodine are still showing up as closed on the reservation website. Mullica River and Lower Forge (maybe others also) are open as of June 1.
In the south, camping is available at ((I believe) Lebanon/Byrne S.F., Atsion Family Camp in Wharton, Belleplaine SF and commercial campgrounds. Makes no sense that wilderness campsites remain closed.
A few weeks ago Gov Murphy said something to the effect of Sleepover summer camps opening for children. he also stated that state campgrounds will remain closed for the unforeseeable future
I believe the boondock camping areas of NJ's State Forests are STILL closed due to Covid. (Bodine, Hawkins, Godfrey). Camp Taylor is a cool spot. Turtle Run in the Pine Barrens is a commercial campground & a much quieter alternative to Wading Pines.
