@DevilDodge That looks just like mine when I purchased it back around 1998. Same wheels & all! I eventually installed a small lift & 33's. I'll have to find a photo.
@DevilDodge I love it! Having owned a '56 & '75 Power Wagon & an '89 Ramcharger, I love it! I wish I had time to share the driving duties back east with you!!!!
Also, a buddy had a Plymouth Trail Duster the same colors as that camper!
Here's alot of info for you. Although it's from advrider & states it's dual-sport tracks, but perhaps many of them are suitable for 4wd travel. I've been visiting Roscoe since Boy Scout Summer Camp in 1980. check out the covered bridge at Beaverkill & Dundas Castle as you drive around...
Good lob! An added benefit is lower center-of-gravity & less aerodynamic drag! (from someone who gets 12-16 mpg, I applaud keeping stuff off the roof). Plus, it's a low-key way of doing things instead of the "Look at me, I'm an Overlander" way.
Great job! Those tires look like good wet/snow weather performers. (Lots of sipes). Your traction aids are nice & compact for emergency use. You're on your way. I applaud you for being practical.
Consider tying a length of orange Paracord or an orange dog training lead to your traction aids...

I have an 11lb Manchester. I guess I didn't realize how long I've had it. I went to get it filled last month & 3 locations here in South Jersey wouldn't refill it as it's now over 12 years old.
Keep this in mind as it won't last you "forever".
I don't know if they still do it, but some brands of Bear Spray came with a "practice cannister". It was a non-harmful aerosol in the same canister as the real deal. Idea was to use the practice canister to learn the deployment of the "real deal". There are countless accounts of folks shooting...
I've had mine for 7 years & still love it everyday even though it's had a bunch of electrical problems. -Small price to pay for a vehicle that you love.
I know it's no longer available but 25 years ago, there were no Chinese winches. I purchased a Superwinch S9000 & have never regretted the purchase. A winch is not something to cheap out on. Think about it.... You're stuck, cold, icey snow is coming down & it's 15 degrees outside. That's no time...
