I've seen several people ask if there was an Overland focused Discord server for chatting with other overlanders. I haven't seen one shared yet, so I created one.
Here is the invite link.
I figure the worst case scenario is that no one uses it. In which case no one was hurt.
Best case...
Those were my thoughts exactly. I was approached with a software development idea very similar to that app, but was wondering how much demand there was for such a thing.
For a motorcycle I could see how that would work out, but on the bicycle I think wireless becomes even more important. Our radios we drop in our jersey back pockets and route the wire up our backs to our earpieces. With the radios in this position it'd mean a wire going from our back pocket to...
Well, I already have a wired headset with a PTT that is inline with the headset wire. I'm looking for a solution that lets me have a wireless earpiece and a PTT button on my handlebars.

Turns out the owner is on the Pacific Northwest Hummer Owners Group mailing list that I manage and he said this:
"We recovered it a few hours ago down a dead end road near my house. Needs a bit of work and some camping stuff was stolen but it is minimal thankfully."
