    Best 1-2 person tent/swag?

I just went from a RTT to a ground tent . The CVT Black Butte is literally a 30 second set up. Open bag, swing out two lower rails. pull roof up and snap side support rods in place. Tie downs add an few extra minutes. 5-10 minutes max for one person. But hey, your camping. what's the rush...

    Surplus Medical Crates

Possibly, if the legs were just .5x1.0 stamped steel or aluminum. However there are some intricate cuts on the ends and the sliding lock that secures the whole set up. That's reverse engineering beyond my range. They are out there, laying on shelves in surplus and antique stores. A set will...

    Surplus Medical Crates

So, I have about a half dozen of these aluminum crates at my disposal. Presently I use a couple on my expo trailer to store hard gear such as my propane stove, Lanterns, hand tools, and propane fire pit. Storage box/drawers set up for 5th gen 4 Runner

Storage box/drawers set up for 5th gen 4 Runner

Yup, I do! Price wise I'd like to stay under $500. That might not be realistic but it's my fixed upper limit. I'd be interested in seeing what others have adapted for use like this. In my building at work, we have a central fire alarm system that uses boxes like these. About 3ft x 2ft and...

Storage box/drawers set up for 5th gen 4 Runner

T4R owners, Looking for recommendations on a storage drawer system for my 4Runner. Obviously you get the best bang for buck when you design and build it yourself. However, my wood working skills suck so I want to just buy a set up. But.....I want some thing economical. Post up your...

    Hatchback Tents

I had this same tent for a while. I felt it was very good quality, ton of room, and being able to sleep in the bed of the truck was nice. The only downside I saw was that if you use the add on room you have to allow for an extra 6-8 feet of width on you campsite
