I went and did it last year East to West and this year West to East going to and from Overland Expo East... there are only 2 sections that are closed... on the west side where you have the big loop that you can either stay south and stay in GA or go north up the loop into TN...the lower section...

That's cool, Thanks for posting. We took the Traverse East to West last year from Expo and leaving in the morning from Birmingham going to take it to Expo West to East this time.

Did last minute prep and pack on the Jeep to leave Monday at dark 30 headed up the Georgia Traverse to be at OEE Thursday and next weekend. I work all day tomorrow, so today was the last push. :) Looking forward to meeting new faces that I haven't had the chance to meet yet.
