    2014 Wrangler Re-gear

The 4whelparts here in town does pretty good work. They had a thing going last month of a complete regear for 1200+ the cost of fluids. Mine is a 14 and 6spd. I do allot of hwy driving as it's my daily driver as well as my weekend toy. I went with 4.56 gears in mine and is perfect for the...

    Tents or car camping

When I travel I have my 100lb Doberman with me, so inside is a bit tight quarters. We use either Hammock or my Oztent RV3. That way I can have my cot and he can have his blanket and matting.

    New 35" Tires!..Now Which Gears...?

the standard sport is 3.21. The Willys comes with 3.73s. a 16 with 35s everyone suggests 4.56s. With the 3.6 4.88s are too short, especially if you do allot of highway. They consider 4.88s with 35s to be a "performance level" for rock crawling. I have 4.56s and i get 18mpg on the hwy and 6th...

    Cooler Suggestions

I've got several friends that use the Ozark Trails coolers and seen allot of reviews that show them lasting as long as the Yeti in all their tests... They appear to be the best bang for buck, especially if this is going to be an intermediate step to a fridge. Most of the stores have them in...

    Recording your Trip

Garmin makes an excellent "action camera" that has built in GPS. A good buddy of mine that goes out on trips with his rig has a Garmin Virb Ultra 30, but all of their "action cameras" will do the same. The cool thing about it is the fact that it's recording all aspects *it's doing video, and...

    Daylight runners on 2007 FJ

disconnecting that module is how I did my 07. It's very easy and if I remember correct it's there at the driver's side. pull the grill off and it will help you with reaching it a little easier.

    Steering Stabilizer?

like @TigersRevenge said, I would check trackbar, and bushings. More than anything though with that tall of a lift you really need a draglink flip so that it puts your steering more in line.

What Trail Condition Do You Fear The Most?

Ruts in which you have to straddle. I had one that it was so dry last summer that the dirt was just super fine and the shoulder gave way at the passenger rear tire...When it did it threw the Jeep off enough that even disconnected it just ever so softly flopped over on it's passenger side. It...

    Black badges?

I have used this stuff before blacking out the chrome mazda badges on a previous car. It's made by Duplicolor and it's a translucent black coating and if you get the kit it includes clear too. With Chrome it just turns it into a black chrome. The badges etched member numbers would still shine...
