I have seen a number of ideas for extra fuel...jery cans, those locking deals..military fuel cans...well some of them suck...rust etc and some are expensive.
Just wondering if anyone other than me has used these things....racing fuel jugs. They are strong fairly cheap and dont take up tons of...

So I am going to weld a piece of pipe from the hub ...the cross member will come off that upright. I will replace that pin with a longer one so it will latch when closed and open.
Now it will be rear bumper time..I want to move the spare out of the back of the truck. Well you cant go down and buy bumpers and tire carriers for these old trucks. I will need a pivot for the tire carrier,,I have looked up the kits for making them....and well I am a cheap skate. I went...

Dinner...anything I can cook on my pow disc cooker....fajitas...stir fry are my favorites.
I can cook 90% of what I like to eat on one of these...
I am not having overheating issues....looks like the radiator I have is already one for the 250-also..at least when I cross the number that I bought. It was just a mind exercise.
Anyone using an add on electric cooling fan? I am thinking of adding a pusher fan for those time when I have to sit idle for long periods of time....anyone else using one for this purpose? I am running a Dodge Ramcharger .
Never can have too many clamps...I have way more than these...I was a mechanic and welder for a few years. My eyesight ...which used to be perfect ..sure causes me issues welding now...looking over bi focals in a helmet is a pain in the butt.
Sorry I missed some of the responses. Thanks for those that are interested. These trucks are not common at all here. I cant believe I found one either. The thing isnt pretty but its 99 % rust free.

I was going to suggest the 5 gallon bucket too. Round objects dont store too well..I also use a kitty litter bucket. They are more square and store a bit better. If you put a bag in the bucket first it sure helps cut down on the smell.
For some folks ..cooking over fire can be intimidating...its not as easy as it looks. Temp control is not adjustable as with gas etc. I have cooked over fire for a few decades..scouts ..son is an Eagle Scout.
I try to stick to foods that can just be rehydrated or cooked with boiling water...
