Thats cool..most of my ancestors came to Texas before it was a state..some even came with Stephen F Austins original 3oo hundred settlers. I want to find as many of these as I can.
If this might help...I make a list of the stuff I take each trip. Not down to the smallest detail but hit most things. When I get back I go through that list and mark each item i didnt use. I use a spiral of some sort for this..as I am old school. I am sure those of you more computer savy...
I think almost all of my hobbies intertwine in one way or another. Hunting, Shooting, Camping, Bushcraft, the one you wouldnt think would is genealogy. I go to cemeteries in some far out places...my truck sure makes those a lot easier.
Hoses for the cooling system, belts, radiator cap...replace them all and save the old ones. Dist cap and rotor. Thats about it for now. I dont do any hard core rock crawling so I doubt I will ever keep drive shaft spares. I have two batteries on board already.

Got battery number two installed , I did put a hold down on it too...1000cca...should be enough..when the other battery craps out it will get the same battery. Just need to make the cables and get them tied together.

I was having the same issue..mine is a hatchback of sorts. The latch and pivot are going to block the back up lights some...I am installing some flush mount led lights and hooking them up for new backups . I am also going to try and match the tubes front and back..not sure I am going to be...
Are they affecting the fm/am also? I thought all devices were supposed to be tested for radio interference. The el cheapo ones I have arent affecting my am/fm and I dont have a cb hooked up yet.
