Using dry ice in ice chest?

Definitely not a good idea. As CO2 sublimates it gets larger. And your cooler will burp CO2. Enough gets into the cabin you'll pass out. Too much, and it doesn't take a lot, is fatal. Windows down you're probably okay. Also don't turn your cooler into a CO2 grenade by trying to super seal it.

    Midland 75-822 thoughts?

I have that cb and I like it. Served me well for the past decade. I like that you get to have a handheld and an in cab unit in one. I keep the battery packs and the antenna dongle in the center console. Then when I need to hop out I pull the transceiver, and the battery and antenna to help with...

How has the Covid-19 virus affected your adventures?

I've been taking and inventory of everything and making sure what's in there has dual purpose or is a unique and critical. Picked up a few new build items and getting them installed. A JLEDock, GMRS, fridge, and slide. Going to try building my own deck to mount the slide.

    Drones for videography and stills

I use the Traxxas Aton. I can get about 30 mins of flight time and the gimbal does its job well. Best is when the filming is over you still have a acrobatic drone

    Paper Maps Brand

Went on a trip this weekend. trail leader had a gazetteer. Probably deLorme. You can see every road even the small unpaved ones, although not all are named. Thing I liked is that they were in a book not multi-fold. Easy to look, dog ear, and keep out of the way. Only one better brand that I have...
