Has anyone found a full-sized, swing-away spare carrier that doesn't delete your backup camera?

OK.... 1) Jealous 2) Questions: - what's it weigh? - is that a stock bumper? 3) Back to jealous again

Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

Love to see Rumbledawg vs v12Mountain in a truck pull or a convoy or a hill climb ... oh, hell...just about anywhere. Nice rigs everybody! Don't see one here that doesn't look good.

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

I think this would be a marvelous thread to start - suppliers that have good quality full-size stuff.... Maybe good enough to sticky it?!

Has anyone found a full-sized, swing-away spare carrier that doesn't delete your backup camera?

Yes, thanks Grendel.... A few of my pet peeves: 1) Having to fix a tool before using it 2) Having to buy something else to get the thing I just bought to work the way it should have in the first place I think a lot of these are falling into 2) It seems to be more cost-effective to put on a...

Has anyone found a full-sized, swing-away spare carrier that doesn't delete your backup camera?

I feel like I have a jigsaw puzzle and some of the pieces are missing: I want a full-sized spare carrier, rear-hitch mounted, swing-away that doesn't block my backup camera....sounds too easy, right? These things are outrageously expensive (Wilco Offroad starts at $825) and all their models...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I ordered a Yakima rack for the truck cap - 10 day wait until it gets in. I also removed the bed and gear so I can install T-rail along both sides of the interior for storage strapping....tomorrow is the install.

Who carrys a firearm with them while camping?

very true, a knife inside that range is quicker, no doubt. But that only means you'll take the first hit. Being prepared for that and repeatedly training to fire from retention evens the odds a little.

    New member needing advice.

I'm preparing for a trip to Ouachita NF in the next few weeks. I have never been there, but all my research says lots of cool roads, camping, water, little towns. Also looks like a difficult navigation area...lots of closed roads, some trails maybe a little too skinny for my full-size...

    Cheap “Tips” and “Tricks

I do a lot of beach camping and it is devastating to the interior...sand everywhere. I've found that vacuums don't do the job well...it's much better to use A LEAF BLOWER.
