I'm at 39,000 on the Tacoma, I racked up about 2,000 miles in the last week too coming out west and exploring. I have a feeling I'll really be piling on the miles next year too.
Good call, these are things I need to think about now that I moved westward where it's significantly drier. Although if push came to shove, I'd probably risk it and use a flare gun.
Looking at their Facebook page it looks like they are working on a redesign and a patent. This would be something nice to have as a just in case. I typically carry a flare gun but I like that this lasts significantly longer and improves my chance of being found.
Another fantastic series, I really enjoyed this one and against my better judgement I watched all 3 episodes in one sitting. I really should have spread them out a little more but I really had to know how it ended.
I have a bug out bag that I always have in the house and I have a smaller version of one in my truck with just some of the basics. Other than that I'm not really prepared for any big disaster other than I have some 40 bottles of liquor in my cabinet so I guess that's something. I also have my...
I'm originally from Michigan, growing up on the east side of the state just north of Detroit and about four years ago moving to the west side just south of Grand Rapids. Work brought me out there, but I never really ended up liking it. About a month ago I interviewed and secured a great position...
I was wondering if anyone had a Flock Fam Overland patch they'd be willing to sell? The version doesn't matter but I can't seem to find any of them online.
I just ended up screwing the mount into the trim that goes around the center stack. I mounted coax connections under the cup holder in the center console since it pops right out and has a few easy places to ground it.

I did some more work this past week on the fuse box and getting...
I've been goofing around with the truck for the past week or so and figured I'd update my thread regarding the truck.
I got my light bar on, however it's still not wired up since I'm still working on my new aux fuse panel. I'll probably finish it up tomorrow barring the weather stays half way...
Ya I'm super impressed with the capabilities of the Scoobys now days. I'll probably end up getting my wife one in the near future since she keeps telling me a 4Runner is too big for her. It would be nice to have some a little more fuel efficient that is perfectly capable off road for weekend...
After waiting for about 6 weeks I got finally got my Prinsu Design Cab Rack and got it installed, it was totally worth the wait since it's a really quality product. It was a bit of a pain installing it since it was just me and I had the bright idea to build it on my garage floor before bolting...

They're way cheaper on Amazon though: Link
Hey it took me long enough to even find it on eBay :tongueclosed:
I got my CBI Off Road ditch light brackets and KC light pods the other day and finally got around to installing them. I'm still waiting on my new Pelfreybilt aux fuse box so they aren't wired up yet, but at least they're mounted up and ready to go.
I've been looking for one too, keep an eye out on eBay since they pop up on there from time to time. I snagged the Destination Darien off eBay a few months ago. I'll let you know if I see one.
