yes i saw these in action before i did my mods and i saw limitations in there. if your all wheel or half wheel is deep in mud , and sinking you wont put any jack up there and lift car, if jack will slip just little you can damage your car , or even brake windows and such. If it slip from front...
well no i did front recovery points with hi lift points and rear i had allready oem some. and i was saving myself in sand couple times , fast and easy, no other jack could lift that high and that fast , but when your car sinks down its hard to do anything, still i was recovered from that deep...
Just do it. Buy some simple welding machine and then just try try try, you will see how much you could do yourself for cheap and get that satisfaction after its all done. Im so happy now i look at it every day and i thinking wow i did that all
all country is in quarantine now for Corona virus as most europe but thats just perfect time to do some work alone in peace
so now proper front and rear ecovery points with custom made shackle adapters and shackles there, just in case i would need them. and it gives car more coller look i...
so this goes with hi lift recovery points just its some extra stuff on this model. but in all this only stuff could be used as hi lift point too, but for now it will be just recovery point. so end result
and how i got there
but to make it even stronger how about connect it with OEM rear...

i like it long version too not like most people do like almost on half roof lenght , why ? use all roof that you can , its 1x1.80m
got stuck in deep mud on winter tires, and they didint do much in mud as we all know , maybe they would if i wouldnt stop just keep momentum but i didint know that road , at least it was some way to lift car and put something under wheels so it wouldnt be down. but i couldnt save myself there...
how to use traction control, when to use it when not use it and when use fixed gears, with right combination it goes pretty good , revs high give lot torque even if winter tires did not had much grip there
and how i got stuck and tried saving myself with hi lift jack but in the end all i need...
front some fixing too, and making all good in trunk, new tools bags some stuff got away as no needed maybe. now more extra space. i even have some fire wood there for if i will want to make fire any time.
and my foldable stove works just great and has its own nice bag and its all ways in car...
thats what i call proper off road lights we would need to to turn on demand and some on sides would be even better so you could lights up all around you when driving in bush
yh i might not have reverse on trailer plug true. i think none of subarus have. so thats that then.
if i need more light i would need to take power from battery straight then. something like this 3 way swith would be best so you couod turn it on on demand as well
Nice. What about trailer lights plug that is in trunk on my car. could that handle some small led like 15-20w? Or i need just separate wire from battery for it anyway?
but how far they light road ? i thought of that as well but i duno do i have reverse light wire coming there. i dont have tow bar but maybe wires comes there on some connection then.. need to look into that.
They waterproof itself that black thing is just for looks it doesnt cover anything from anything so that place where wire connected will get water and get damaged in time, as it was for me on previous car but you just resolder wire or maybe change wire for better one at first place and they work...
