I have a 4.5” lift on my 2000 XJ. It is currently running a stock driveshaft. It was recommended that I put on a longer drive shaft versus a slip yoke eliminator. Looking for suggestions.
I have the Rough Country Heavy duty front end on my 2000 Cherokee. Turns out I need a tie rod. Can I use a stock tie rod? Can’t find tie rods on Rough Country.
My oil pan drain plug on my 2000 Jeep XJ with the 4.0 is stripped and just spins. It’s not leaking. How can I get the plug out and can the hole be fixed or do I need a new oil pan as some people are telling me?
Sent my Cherokee in for an oil change and an inspection sticker. Turns out they couldn’t do the oil change because the nut is stripped. So I need a new oil pan.
Talked with a place that does regearing. They recommended 4:56 gears saying at 65 my rpm would be 2700 on the highway. 4:10 would be 2400. If I went 4:56 would the high rpm’s hurt the motor for a extended time?
