I love the SX-70 but yeah the film…ugh. The Impossible Project camera is actually pretty great. There is an app to view and trigger remotely and a bunch of other features but it's just not reliable. :/
Have you considered one of the lid organizers Pelican makes for their cases? Pretty great more useful alternative to the foam if you store things like hand towels and soft goods.

Anyone else use Polaroids or any other instant cameras at all? I have an Impossible Project I-1 camera and a Polaroid SX-70. They constantly malfunction though :/
That same generic dry bag company (Leader Accessories) makes a pretty well made and cheap waterproof backpack as well. I use this when exploring in my rig in case I need to do any walking anywhere with dirty stuff or parts or things of that nature.
