Yeah I have a couple other bamboo cruiser decks (that I love) with longboard wheels, but I've been enjoying the Powell filmer wheels more in the last couple years.
Also… the less environmentally friendly ones haha…
I've got four (4) aluminum SpiderTrax™ 1.25" thick wheel spacers made (in America) for Toyota 6x5.5 if anyone wants them. They are anodized blue in color like the photo illustrates but these are USED (about 7k miles on them) and I'm only getting rid of them because I found some black ones.
I have a Marmot Limestone 6 that has been great for me. I do try to sleep under the stars as much as possible but that's not always an option.
Best part about it? It's "unisex" so my wife can sleep in there too!!! lol
I've never needed more than two fortunately, because that's all I have… *meh* I figure a rear locker and two Maxtrax should be ok. Has been so far (dammit just jinxed myself).
Fresh air, beautiful views and and Mother Nature in all her wonderful glory. Simple as that. Using a vehicle obviously enables you to do and see more so there ya go… 2 + 2 = 4 and 4 x 4 = Freedom *makes screaming eagle sound*
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family that not only...
I use milk crates all the time for spray paint storage but sometimes for travelling. I've found these small nets useful at times, though I did remove the plastic hooks and replace with small carabiners. Pretty cheap and easy…

And like @theick said, there are TONS of aftermarket mods/support. I'd have her sign up for fjcruiserforums.com and...
I'm very happy with my old and *ahem* …bulky, Fenix HP25.
I do keep 3 Pelican Progear 2760's in the truck though as well when traveling. Much easier to use...
After not finding exactly what I needed, I pieced together my own kit using things I wanted from places like ZEE and MOORE in my Pelican EMS Case. I used to think it was overkill but lately I've been searching for a bunch of additional items after a few close calls.
This is awesome! I plan on doing the Mojave Road and hopefully Rubicon Trail this year. I'll be spending quite a bit of time in Southern California and LOVE Big Bear and especially the geology of the area sooo…. *puts this on list* Thanks!
