Nope, not marketing a build product as in selling it, but have considered starting kinda of a different thread, based on my build experience listing everything I am including in my camper/Tacoma build that is unconventional or very light, because that is my focus. So for instance I am not using...
Again, thanks guys, I am collecting a list of all these apps to investigate and possibly use, but I now have some 25 recommended apps! A lot of sorting to do!
BTW, our new camper/Tacoma build is slowly coming along, it is designed to be VERY light, NOT over the GVW of the Tacoma, likely a...
HOW can the HOA know what if any radios you have?
That's insane.
Ignore, ignore ignore.......
How many times a month do they say you are to do your laundry?
LOL to it all. ALL of it.
iPhone works for this dumbo :-)
It's a GPS and phone in one, plus holds lots of applications, which are toys to get you what you want.
It will involve learning something new, BUT it is NOT learning technical computer stuff AT ALL, that is a misconception. It is simply pushing buttons, just as...
Not all of us need the same type of space to park and sleep. Site in the mtns with a clear creek running by is the best, but when you need to go quickly from point A to B, there might not be such a spot and a Bass Pro Shop or a Walmart is most enjoyable given the circumstances.
Years ago I bought a heat exchanger, a copper tube with another copper tube inside it so it is a heat exchanger. Has inlet of one end and outlet on the other. You put a hose into a bucket of water, stream, etc., and pump sucked up water with a 12 volt pump through it and out into a shower hose...

I have successfully avoided purchasing MaxTrax or similar for many years, relying on other means to extricate myself. However in the mud at Overland Expo last fall, the tire tracks into the camping area became so deep I could NOT get my front tires to steer out of the deep valley. Finally a good...
I own an aluminum shovel that I used with a snowmobile to shovel snow and it works well, is light, packs small, etc. HOWEVER it wears out quickly if used in dirt or rocks, a serious drawback for overlanding in general.
Unfortunately I just saw this event and want to attend but it is now full.
1) How do I get notified of future events such as this? I am an OB East member so not sure what else I need to do.
2) Is there a wait list I can get in?
Thanks Chris

Hey James, you will enjoy OB immensely. I have been overlanding for many years but there is still lots for me to learn here, and the folks are very sharing and fun.
Jump in!!
Add the Gaia app to your smart phone. So you can get lost and find your way back :-)
I've researched how best to navigate, and folks such as Scott Brady I've spoken to (editor/publisher of Overland Journal) recommend this app as the best.
I get lost EASILY :-)
Yea, I know what you mean by Walmart, Lowes, Bass Pro Shop, et al, ....been there done that! BUT if you need to cover ground and get some shut eye, I've been VERY grateful to have ANY place to stay. Yea, it's not on the top of Engineer's Pass in CO with an awesome view, but it is sleep so you...
