Haven't done a lot of snow wheeling but does anyone know how the terrain up there changes when it snows?

There's a running joke with the group that every trail is "easy enough for a stock vehicle" so you shoukd be good. I have a winch and some recovery gear if anyone gets stuck. Nick does to. So we should be all good.

What are the "DRT" guys. I dont know how far GWNF is from you but thats looking like the plan. Maybe run some trails and then hit up one of the breweries/beer joints in Harrisonburg? I am waiting for some people to get a title for a car I have been looking at picking up. If they get it next...

They are all doable, just about how far everyone wants to drive. I am down for GWNF again. Looking at some of the National Parks that are close by, alot of them have closed areas, hunting notices, or need some sort of prior coordination.

Oh yea, been doing some looking around and looking at Gaia. Meant it in the aspect that we still had no plans for the 16th so trail clean up day could happen then.

With the encroaching holidays my Saturdays are booked but I would be down. Still looking for options on the 16th.

I am not one for offroad parks but it honestly sounds like GWNF would be the best bet. Would probably do an overnight thing just because of how far the drive is. Another other recommendations?

Going along with what @Hafaday said, another problem would be finding something closer than GWNF. The only tail I know is the one we ran in Clinton. Idk if @smplone has any recommendations.

Honestly, this is the first time in years that I have had weekends off. BIG Question though is were do we want to go? Do we want to keep hitting GWNF or do we want to look else ware? I can post a thread on ExPo to see if they have any recommendations. I do not know of anything closer than that...

I have seen a stock 4 Runner limited run the trails here. I don't know much about Toyota's but I feel you should be fine for the trails around here. GWNF has been the go to for the last 4-5ish trips I have been on. There are trails mapped out if you have Gaia. Should be some GPS coordinates...

No go for me. Trying to get some things hamered out.
