It really is not a lot of extra weight and with trail time experience with it mounted you will eventually forget its even up there. Be mindful of it but now i am more worried about branch clearance than off camber...lol
Thanks! Thats a 1650....everything fits nice in there. 2 batteries carry some weight and the pelicans are up to the task with heavy walls for screwing the strapping in. To move this thing i take the batteries out though so i dont kill myself...lol.
Yeah same here. Plano Sportsmans and Pelicans. Though I did not, nor would not, pay the asking price for pelicans. I was fortunate to get some freebies from work. Awesome cases but wow are they expensive!
Thats why i didnt want hardshell rtt. Too much roof is gone and they are contoured leaving no space for storage. But @four'running , nice flat design you have leaving options.
Thanks !
I have not hit the limits yet but then again i dont push it past our needs. Everything we need it powers and then some. The only addition for power draw in the future would be a fridge but seeing what others use to power yhem i doubt it would be a problem. Look forward to seeing your build.
Yeah it works better than I expected. I keep pushing it to see its " limits" but so far it shocks me. My concerns were the conditions...tree shade, clouds etc. but even on cloudy days the monocrystalline panel takes in plenty of charge. 7 trips with it so far this year and Im happy as a pea...
