Exactly what I was going to suggest, aim for 2200-2400 rpm while crusing at 60 mph. That's with a 6. my 4 cyl runs 22-2300 at 60mph and honestly, I wish it were a bit higher to keep it from down shifting so much. 5th gear is too low for 60mph crusing at 2800 rpm. and 6th is too low.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Same as I put on the Pat. I have a warranty claim gone in, both front struts (rough Country N3) bang loudly when fully extended. It's brutal. If it did not do that, I would give it 10/10. The ride, handling, off road feel are much improved, but the loud bang when extended take all that away.

What gears are you running now, what is your 60mph RPM in top gear?

This! I put 2" lift on most things I have owned in the past 15 years, just to clear some larger tires. We don't Rawk Krawl here, it is 99 percent back country logging roads with some river crossings etc. a bit of extra lift to fit larger tires and stop the belly from scraping over rocks in the...

No ETA. Still trying to get a rock solid price on one, we are shopping around a few dealers in the east here.

They are spot on IMO, perfect size for what we are doing, and where we go.

Should spin the bolts around so that if you flex hard you won't hit the cab with them....Great mount otherwise!

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

No, the AT3W we just installed are awesome. 235/65/17. The largest that can be installed is 245s. Not worth spending money on and having to do trimming etc. I don't have to do anything with the 235s.

Who here is also exploring in a small Jeep? Cherokee, Compass, Renegade? Post photos, lets see them.

I wish I could find an XJ around here that's not beat to death, or not full of cancer. I love them.

Driver Comfort for 6 foot and above - Tacoma

I had a 2019 Tacoma TRD short wheel base out when it came in, it was NOT comfortable at all. it was like you were lying down with no room for my legs. I am only 5'7". It was back to the dealer with that, and moved on from wanting one. The aftermarket will take care of all other smaller trucks...

Just got back from the dealer where I purchased the lift and they have 2 new front struts ordered for me. Great service. Action Truck Caps in Grand Falls-Windsor, or Gander Newfoundland. Great to deal with.

The lift is installed. I have one issue about the front two struts having a KLUNK issue, that is in caps because that is how bad it is. The system rides really good otherwise, I am going back to the dealer to sort out the front end issue. Everything in the suspension has been replaced now, all...

I have been looking to see where to put a house battery too. The best I can come up with is put it in the spot where the "cubby" is in the back, on the passenger side. Use a LiPo4 battery which packs a punch while being smaller. But I want to upgrade the main battery as well. How's the optima...

The PAT is gone to the shop for the lift install. I would have done it myself but if a bolt or nut is contrary and needs to be burned off, I have no way of doing that, so I am paying the money and having it fully installed and 4 wheel alignment completed afterwards!

There is an inline fuse less than 12" away from the battery. You can see the housing right at the end of the wire in picture with the battery (which is getting changed). Speaking of which, do you know of any deep cycle battery that fits our little rigs?
