We have a "unique" branded 12v fridge, it works great. I just installed a plug into the back of the jeep for it. We bought it at Costco. Not sure if they have any more.
FInished the wiring for the rear power plug, and trailer hitch wiring. Ran into a few bumps but nothing major. Pics of some of the action will be posted today. As we were just plugging on through it, I never took many pictures to show progress. Also added some storage to the rear seats for...
On today's menu, wiring up the trailer harness, add a flush mount 12v plug in on a switch in the rear for the fridge to plug into and do a once over on the swaybar situation. Getting a lot of clunk up front, but just had the LCA's replaced, so It can't be ball joints.
If what everyone says is true, I am cancelling my sub as well and moving to other sources. OB1 will be my first choice. I have some issues with it right now, but it's in it's development stage, if I can help grow OB1, I am all for it!
Cool. At least you received a timeline. WHen I contacted them, They had no eta. I was going to go with the moog springs, Bilstiens and Daystar lift. But The Rough Country has everything with that and more.
I got sick of waiting for the bilstiens and ordered the full Rough country lift. I contacted them almost a year ago and they had no clue on supply for them. Good to hear about the joints on the arms. they look awesome. I have to say!
Awesome. You guys are going to love it I think. There is a Foz sport scooting around here and it looks like a killer rig. There is also a retired pharmacist just down the road from me who has owned around 8 of them. The entire family has a latest model forester each in different colors 4 of them.
I was on the big superstore in the sky (amazon), and found a bunch of connectors for propane tanks with gauges in them, how good are these for accuracy?
When there is radio silence for a period of time, I start thinking the same thing, but I remember they are in areas without reliable service. I know if we go on an extended run, I will be getting starlink. Invaluable item for us for entertainment, connectivity and safety. I have a near silent...
I am So close to going to star link for our internet. The only thing right now that is stopping me is my great employee discount with bell. I am getting the highest speed from Bell for a great price. If I ever leave them, It's on with starlink because we can just take our internet with us...
For the bolts on the bumper, you need a zip wheel if you don't have one on your grinder. The other thing you can do is use a Dremel with a cutting wheel and cut down through the bolt and then cold chisel it off. I had to do this with a customers Honda valkarye. The exhaust mount nuts were rusted...
I went and found the write up Sandstone did and looked at his clearances. I think the flex connects will fit in no problem. I can't ask him about it because I am banned from that site because I called out Rossoracer for his BS. But from looking at the pictures, I cannot see any clearance...
Been doing some reading here and noticed that a guy on another site added JKS quick disco swaybar links on his patriot. Link below.....
JKS Quicker Disconnects - Installed | Jeep Patriot Forums
This got me thinking...Why not use the flex connect swaybar links on the patriot instead. So, that...
Just glad everyone is ok. Accidents happen, I have been a couple of big one's that were not my fault. The new rig shows ALOT of potential, no rust is the main thing. Everything else (if straight) can be fixed.
Annie the wrangler has been sold, The patriot will be towing that around. But it's 860 lb dry so add the gear you are looking at about 1000 lbs which is well below the max towing of the patriot. It's great inside. It has a table for eating and doing other things, and then that folds down to a...
