At trailers has tank mounts for various applications, maybe you could retrofit one of those inside the cargo area. Or get a milk crate, put the tank in that, strap it down to the crate, then the crate to the cargo holds inside. Let us know what you come up with.
Been doing some more research, they said it could be the bolt of the sway bar link hitting the sway bar at full droop. My buddy (owns the blue LJ / TJ) are going to look at it next week when we are doing the trans fluid change on our pat and brakes on his Cherokee. I will get this sorted...
@Red_Leaf_Overland , What do you make of this? I think this guy is having the same "knock" I am getting, which is actually a top out knock, not a bottom out knock...
Well, the new struts are in, I see an improvement, but the top out clunk is still there. At this point I am going to drive it a few thousands KM and see if they settle in to the point where the top out won't be as dramatic.
We love it too. We have a bun h of vehicles at our disposal including a mercedes glk320 and we think the little pat is a better ride. As for the rough country stuff. Time will tell if it works for us. I'm telling them to make sure there are no noises in our rig before they give it back...
The little pat goes into the shop today to get it's replacement front legs. 2 new complete struts from Rough Country. If these work, I will be extremely happy with the lift system. I had it on an very rough road last night and it ate it up (except for the top out loud clunk). Crossing my...
LP adventure gives you most any upgrade available on the others in soobies' lineup. and it's plenty capable. Replace the tires, add a bit of lift and undergarment protection ;-), and you will be able to go all over the place.
We have been talking about the future alot lately and have the same mindset. We have the patriot and a sylvansport GO camper system and it works. But moving forward in the next 3 to 4 years, we are going to upgrade to the Outback wilderness and a NO BO 16.6 camper. SO much more room, is an...
So, the string of bad luck continued with the F150. Got a call last week it would be done on Friday, goes over and the dumb mechanic who drove it into the garage at the ford dealership had to keep the battery booster on the truck for it to run. First clue the alternator was bad, so instead of...
Again, great content. After watching Kelly and I started discussing our Sylvansport Go/Jeep Patriot setup for getting out next year. I am going to take some of the "frunk" space up front with an inverter, lithium battery, and charge controller. Outside, we will have a plug to provide power to...
Unfortunately, That has spread to Canada too as our ratings are the same. 2000lbs for the pat in Canada, 3300 in Australia same vehicle, same engine, same everything. The Outback and WIlderness is 3500 in Canada and 4400 in AUS.
I will not worry to much about it then if I buy a NO/BO 16.6...
