Ford Maverick and the small overlanding pickup truck

I watched a video from driving sports comparing the outback wilderness to the Maverick FX4. The FX4 AWD is much better than the soobs off road. They had different tires but that would not make the huge difference that was shown. The soob is an awesome rig, and I would love to have one, but...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Hey, at least your Chevy symbol is not lit up yet! (You know the one! ha ha). I almost had new logos made for the outside of the suburban when we owned it.

    Overloaded

So, I was reading that yesterday and that slide in is STUPID BIG. I have a 2017 F150 screw fx4 with the 5.0. I want to put a truck camper in for when we travel. I was looking at the lance 650 or 825. Both are 200lbs of each other. Am I safe with this setup? Everything I have been reading is...

Is anybody actually getting out ? (Edit)

Winter up here, even though we have no snow, it's terribly muddy and crappy. Cold, wet, and nasty. Winter camping would be fine if we had snow to insulate etc, but not with nothing...

If they bring them back, I doubt it will be a v8.

2006 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4wd SLT - "Rumble"

I had a 98 extended cab sport with v8. I had it lifted with the rancho suspension and had WAAG grill guard, tail light guards and tube running boards. I loved that truck, I still say it's the best truck I owned.

2006 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4wd SLT - "Rumble"

Hey, could have been worse. Could have been a moose where Rumble would be Rubble! I love Dakotas, get his chipped tooth fixed and drive the wheels off.

First snowstorm - Got to test the Falken AT3W in snow......

I have been in every type of weather with ours now and we are believers in this tire. I drive ALOT of KMs. They are great in snow, rain, dry dirt, and more. We don't do mud so I am not sure what they are like for that, but not what I bought them for anyways. The AT3W will be on all our rigs.

The Autism Family Travels updated vehicle build. Take two! 2015 Jeep Patriot altitude.

Well, I have an appointment made to remove the rough country junk. I do not recommend this system at all. 1. the clunk front and rear from the struts is unbearable. 2. I was expecting 2 inch lift all around but it's only 2 inch in front so the jeep has dog having a piss look to it. 3. it's not...

Third try - now a Bison!

I got mine years ago from VVME.com. I don"t think they are around anymore. I would goto the retrofitsource. They have very high quality HID kits. You will be blown away with the amount of light from the 50w versions they have. I am going back to this setup on the patriot. I am also debating...

Third try - now a Bison!

Love the Hella's. Best light (after some mods) that I have used. Better than all those fancy led light bar thingys. Put 55w 4300K hid in the driving beam Hella 500 housings, and you have a set of lights that will outperform 2000 dollar lightbars. Great rig.

Who here is also exploring in a small Jeep? Cherokee, Compass, Renegade? Post photos, lets see them.

Love the Commanche! I always thought about getting really silly about it and making one a full 4 door with the full length bed. That would be an awesome rig for us.
