Hey all!
Just wanted to share a few pictures of our prototype pre-production rear ladder mount gear bag and see what you all think. I made the original one seen here in the photos for myself, not intending to put it into production but the response I've gotten so far makes me re-think that. I...
Sorry, I just re-read your post and I think you meant lift the entire awning up 6 to 10". That make sense but for me it would make it to high to get in and out of my garage.
just curious, I get lifting the awing section in the rear but then how would it close correctly and still fit in the bag when closed? Have you done or seen this done before? or have any pictures? Thank you.
Yeah 20 weeks is a hell of a wait time. I would love to see behind the scenes and know what takes so long. It wasn't too bad though, they said it would be 12 to 16 weeks when I ordered it and they don't charge you for it until it's ready to ship. I just bought a cheep rack that I used while I...
I have been looking into the same thing and haven't found much. The best option I have found and what I think I will go with is the EEZI-AWN Manta. It looks like the panel that is at the rear of the vehicle could be folded back into the awning to allow the rear lift gate to be opened then put...
One of the biggest things to consider with your roof rack is time and specifically how long are you willing to wait for it. I just got my Gobi rack for my 2017 Grand Cherokee and I love it but your looking at the very least a 20 week wait to get one and if you think you are going to want ANY of...
Yes, that is the size I'm running and I have plenty of room around the wheel well. No rubbing at all turning fully to the left or right. The only place it is close is on the back side of the tire where the nut is at the top of the spindle but I have no problem with it rubbing on it and that is...
I was really surprised to hear this! Maybe all the good reviews of the kit have them way behind. From the time I ordered mine to it showing up in the mail was no more than 9 to 10 days max, the spacers were wrapped individually and there were so many packing peanuts in the box that I almost...
No problem! I just got my Gobi stealth rack and ladder and I love it. Still a very sleek look and keeps the jeep looking modern. I went with the KC flex lights too, they are small and complement the look of the rack without being bulky and flashy. I have another post on here called "how long to...
Love all the "models" but I feel as though I just got tricked by click bait as I was expecting to see girls in bikinis doing overland stuff. LOL :disappointed:
Nope, you won't need to mess with the coil spring at all other than just to pull the entire strut assembly out and mount the spacer to the top of it. Once you do remove it, take the 3 nuts that were holding the top in place and screw them back on to the posts and tighten them all the way down so...
Looks great! I got my rack and ladder on Monday and got it put on. So I ordered it on Nov. 10th and received it April 30th. So worth the wait. I am so happy I went with the Gobi rack. Everything you hear about Gobi is true. They are slow, unresponsive, and make one hell of a rack!
