That’s very true about the not needing them, And just using the seats. I was just more concerned about have to take on and off the RTT or putting the cover on it. If only I had a garage I could pull in with the RTT instead of taking it off every time...
I am sure you guys have seen them on YouTube vids but I am torn between which door hinge to buy? I just ordered a RTT tonight so I figured they would make things easier getting on top of my rack.
Do I go with the Karoo Rack door hinge set or the Smittybuilt “Atlas” version?
Have you guys had...
Got a new storage system for the Jeep to help with camping. I have been seeing a lot of people using WWII field desk to put in the back. When I typed "Army Field Desk" into my local Facebook marketplace, a newer style popped up made by Pelican. The guy was asking $253.00 for it and we settled on...
I wasn’t sure if it did but since I ordered mine straight from the factory I just opted out of buying the tow package. They could of put one on my Jeep but it was an extra $700 at the time. I just got a receiver offline for $150. Saved some cash and got to learn about taking the apart the bumper...
It was local. A guy in Minneapolis bought it for his wife’s jeep....I installed it when it finally arrived and then one month later, she wanted it off because it looked to manly...it was just sitting in his garage basically brand new. Even my wife said it was to good of a deal to pass up.
This is the space you get when you rent a group size camp site.
Each of us took half of the site. Here is @cerberus sweet trailer set up!!
For anyone that is looking at renting a group site, please call and ask if it is drive in. We found out that you had to walk your equipment in to the...
The set up in the back. I should really do a write up of what I pack and how I pack it. Basically three smaller tubs in the trunk, one large trunk on the roof rack, a cooler (awesome cooler, stayed at 34 degrees the entire trip), coleman stove, two sleeping bags and two personal backpacks...
Next camping trip @cerberus and myself did was to Minniopa State Park located near Mankato, MN. The plan was to set up camp, hit up the Mankato Brewery and maybe do some exploring.
We still got to go to the Mankato brewery but our significant other go to find out what it was like to camp in...
Drove back to Duluth to try and get into the Trample By Turtle concert but it didnt look like it was going to happen. I am not sure if there was miscommunication with Duluth and setting up this concert or just piss poor management on trying to staff it but the line just to get into the concert...
After some drinks at the Bent Pattle Brewery, we headed back into Wisconsin to set up our next camp site at Pattison State Park. In my opinion, Amnicon State Park was better, but they were booked solid so we couldn't stay for more than two days.
Set up at the entrance of the camp once again.
Now neither of us own a skottle so @cerberus improved by getting a burner and a Wok and all the food that was made on the trip turned out amazing!.
Breakfast the next morning.
