Started with a heavily used 2008 FJ Cruiser with 152,000 miles and a weak transmission.

Added snorkel 2nd day in after transmission swap the day I received the truck.

Also worked the get the silly lens tent off. Who tents lens??

ARB bumper showed up 3 days after purchase

Then the big work began.
Lift - Toyo Tire’s 35’s on method NV’s
ARB Roof Rack - National Luna Dual Battery Controlers - ARB 50qt fridge - Inreach/Iridium GPS and satellite messenger - Kenwood in dash Garmin GPS -MPAC cargo cage - Wilson Boosters - Hrz UFH VFH Radios - Lights - Camera -Action

Still waiting on rock sliders, drawers are being built, and solid front axle is still a possibility. Solar panel, fridge slider, and new heads are in the shop waiting on me to get some time off.

Rig is coming along nice. No issues yet and we can’t wait to get out and enjoy the work that’s gone into it so far.

Awesome looking rig bro! Do you like the look of your fender flares being completely removed? I'm still getting some rubbing and Im thinking I'm going to remove my fronts at least to rid myself of that. Love how you have mounted your lights. I didn't think to hide the wires for my dash candy behind the side panels. Great idea. Keep up the good work bro!

I removed the fenders just because the ones on it were already cracked and now that they are gone, I kind of dig it.
It looks kind of ratty up close with no fenders though. But I don’t mind it

10-4. I think I my just cut off the bottom of mine. I'm not sure yet. I like the look of them and that they are small. But I also like the look of them being removed. But I like that they semi-keep my vehicle clean. Kinda torn on what to do. I like the Baja style look of them being removed on yours. Dangit. lol.

2 new Rigid 40” radiance amber light bars and ARB fridge/freezer went in
Also wired up some USB ports in the dash. Just some cheep ones off amazon.

I gotta start looking into re-gearing this thing. Heavy 35’s pull her way down

Looking good! I have thought that an FJ Cruiser with a SAS would be a sweet and fun build. Benz.
