using clay after washing removes stuck on contaminates that embed into the paint or that are more stuck on than normal washing can remove. things like pieces of metal or glass stuck in the clear coat, tar or overspray stuck to the paint, etc. this keeps you from picking up those things up in...

thanks man! it took a bunch of prep but it was definitely worth it. didn't fully turn out as well as i wanted but it was pretty close. i'll be doing a clear bedliner over it during the winter this year. i wanted to let it "patina" a little bit before i did the bedliner.

Headlight went out last week so I ordered some hella sealed beam conversions. Material difference in light output, but by no means staggering. I'll be upgrading the wiring harness soon with a relay and heavier gauge wire. Apparently the stock Headlight wiring harness leaves a lot on the table.

Figured out why the EFI fuse was blowing. The O2 sensor wiring had moved and fallen out of its clips under the truck. The wiring harness fell into the exhaust and melted all the covering and insulation. I'm currently fixing it and will make sure it's much more secure from now on. Sent from...
