Very Nice and Scenic !

whats up with that shack ? is it rentable ? Cool spot !... I have yet to do death valley but thought it would be "cool" in the fall ! ?

I even asked a ranger while in the Town of Genoa , NV , and she said as long at it doesn't say private, etc. ... your good the go ... anywhere !

well just drive down to the arco station at the corner of I-50 and 6 mile rd and ask jim the cashier while buying a coke , he'll tell ya about it and you can drive to it and explore ! ha ... cause thats what I did ! then you can truly be "Overland Bound" ! ha

Cool glad I could help with the maps and image ... ! The wild horses are really mesmerizing to see , especially knowing they are purely Free !

Thats great to know ! ... I just happen to hear about this area when I stopped for a coke and just happened to ask a local ... so it was my first time ever in this area ... so way cool I thought ...

Its basically the directions ... so east on Dayton Valley rd in Dayton, NV ... once you pass the tracts of houses , the road veers to the right ... but just keep going you'll see it look further east and you'll see a fence ... but it'll be obvious... then you'll see the gate with the sign "...

Two other things amazed me ... 1 ... that my stock as a rock LX450, with no lockers, and 31's didn't even bat an eye going anywhere I wanted to... had to go 4 low a couple times , but didn't hiccup at all ... by far the best wheeler I've owned ! And 2 ... that having nearly 20 yrs sober ...

The wild horses were a special treat ... We'd just sit there mesmerized watching them ... knowing they were truly wild ! so very cool in my mind !.... we wouldn't have even seen any of them , if the result of stopping in a gas station for a soda, and asking a local where there was a cool rd to...
